Behind every great person there is a story of struggle.

Did your journey start off easy ? Or was it a rocky entry into this life ? What have you learned in the process ? Have you stopped and looked back at all the progress you have made ? When you consider where you began and where you are now, do you still consider your mental health challenges a burden ? Or have you realized that they are the fuel for propelling you into your best life ?

I have had two lives. The one before the onset of Bipolar disorder and the one I now live. At first it was a tremendous challenge. Sometimes it still is. There are days when I cannot see passed the veil that covers my perception. But to be honest, I’m glad that I have this illness, because it has called me higher; into my best life. And that is what I want for you. I want you to be able to live your best life, despite the real challenges of Mental Illness. In this blog I will be sharing ways that you can rise above the lows, balance out the highs, and find peace in your everyday life. The transformation will not be overnight, but if you decide to follow along, I believe you will also come to realize the gifts of Mental Illness.

I will be covering topics not normally associated with Mental Health; like yogic breathing, EMF (electromagnetic) tools, vegetarian foods and other important things like adequate hydration and sleep. But the overall goal of all the modalities I will introduce are done so for improving the quality of one’s life. And quality of life is the goal of Mental Health. Feeling good and being healthy is the target we are aiming for. I hope you will decide the journey to total wellness is worth the effort to invest in your self and follow along.
